Porcupine and Turtle

        In a small and beautiful village called Grandula, there was a porcupine called Poca. She was a beautiful, kind and friendly but she was a lonely. If she wanted to   play with her friends, they always ran sheer off from her. No one wanted to play with her . It was not because she was a rude or dishonest, but all of her friends were afraid of her spike which were too sharp.

          Every time, she just spent the time by dreaming under the tree. One day she walked to the river to catch fish. She sat in bank of river, but she just dreamed and dreamed again. She thought that if she didn’t have spikes in her body, she could play and had many friends. She would feel happy and would not be lonely again.

          Suddenly, Turty the turtle appeared from the river. She asked to the Poca why she just stayed at the bank of river and dreamed lonely. Poca told about the problem and said that she didn’t have friend because she had many spikes which were too sharp. She just could cry and lives lonely. Turty was not like her other friends. She always supported her that she could get many  friends who could accept her as they were. She said that Poca’s spikes were very helpful and useful. Turty was not afraid to sat beside her and was not afraid with her spikes. She was also best friend.

          One day, Robby the rabbit held a party to celebrate his new house. He invited all his friends, including Poca and Turty. But Poca thought that it would be better if she did not came to the party, because she did not want to mess Robby’s party. But Turty supported her to come to the party and enjoyed the party. So, they went to Robby's party, but all guests moved when Poca walked to the party. They were afraid to Poca’s spikes and asked her to leave the party. All of Robby’s friends could not dance and ranged if Poca was still in the party. Poca felt so sad and ran out of the party.

           Suddenly, Lilo the lion came. He knew that Robby held a big party. He wanted to mess the party and ate the rabbit, rooster, and the others. All of Robby’s friends were afraid, they screamed and ran to save their lives from the evil. All would be ate by Lilo. Lilo ran to catch them, but they could save their live. Turty pulled her head and legs into his shell and Poca rolled her body into a ball. The Lion stepped his foot in to the spikes, so the sharp spikes stabbed his foot. Lilo ran and laughed painfully.

          Finally, Robby and his friends could save their lives from the evil. They thanked to Poca because she helped all. From then on, she was not lonely again. She had many friends including Turty, her best friend. They were aware that Poca’s spike would not hurt anyone but it could help everyone.
